CLEVELAND — The Browns got some great news heading into their big matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs: cornerbacks Denzel Ward and Kevin Johnson have been activated off the COVID-19 reserve list.
It means the Browns will have a full secondary as they go against Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and company.
Ward and Johnson sat out the previous two games, the 24-22 playoff-clinching victory over the Steelers and then the 48-37 victory over the Steelers that advanced the Browns to the divisional round in Kansas City on Sunday.
Robert Jackson made his first two career starts in place of Ward, and struggled at times in coverage.
