We would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank, on behalf of our family, Ashtabula City Council for their moment of silence during their meeting honoring our father upon his passing in December and to Kym Foglio for reading a beautiful statement provided by Tim Dibble, a dear family friend and former student of our father’s.
We would also like to thank the Ashtabula County Commissioners for their Resolution in honor of our father for his years of service to this community.
Also, thank you to the Star Beacon for writing an amazing article honoring him and publishing it on Christmas Day. What a great gift during such a sad time for our family.
We appreciate the acknowledgement of his dedication to this community and his students from Sandusky and Ashtabula. as well as being overwhelmed by the love and support from everyone.
Also, to the American Legion Dewey Howlett Post 103, we love and appreciate you. You knew how dedicated he was to our country and our amazing Veterans. His legacy will live on through his family, students and the Veterans of this community.
And to the Lakeside High School Band Director and Boosters, thank you for recognizing him and his accomplishments by establishing a music scholarship in his name. What a legacy to leave behind!
All our love.
