Gas prices in Jefferson are just outrageous.

The saying is “if you see something say something.” Well I’ve been seeing this for a long time and it’s just not right. The gasoline stations in Jefferson must be colluding to keep their prices consistent.

I filled up my tank for $1.70.9 — the price in Jefferson was $2.09.9.

It’s time for the mayor, the village administrator, and village council members to act on this issue.

Ashtabula County commissioners should also act. It’s impossible to go from Ashtabula to Jefferson without seeing the gas prices posted in Ashtabula and then see the price in Jefferson as you enter the village from either the north or the south.

You have to ask yourself why.
