Here are a few quotes from our dear leader, foisted on us by the Republican Party’s God-fearing base:
“He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured.” Said of John McCain, but his statement slimed all POWs.
There is more:
“I know more about ISIS than the generals do.” (11/23/15)
“My IQ is one of the highest — and you all know it! Please don’t feel stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault.” (10/11/17)
“The beauty of me is that I’m very rich.” (8/10/18)
“Nobody has more respect for women than I do, nobody.” (10/20/16)
“I’m a very stable genius.” (11/6/18)
“I’m also honored to have the greatest temperament that anybody has.” (11/3/16)
And after touring the CDC on March 7, 2020 Trump said this: “Every one of the doctors said, ‘How do you know so much?’ Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done this instead of running for President.” Yes, the man is a bombastic fool.
If you dismiss or rationalize these comments or think they’re funny, you don’t have a leg to stand on should you complain about partisanship.
