ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP — Two men were injured in an accidental shooting on Sunday afternoon.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 2500 block of Eureka Road around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to a statement from the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office.
A 58-year-old man accidentally fired a gun, resulting in an injury to his hand, according to the statement. A 51-year-old man was shot in the abdomen, and was transported to a Cleveland hospital for treatment.
Both mens’ conditions are unknown at this time, according to the statement.
No arrests have been made, according to the statement.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is being released at this time.
