CONNEAUT- Two teenage boys were cited into Juvenile Court after they struck family members in separate incidents Monday, police said. At 11:25 a.m., police were dispatched to a Broad Street home after being told a 16-year-old slapped his mother in the face during an argument. The woman was not injured seriously, officers said. At 8:06 p.m., police called to a West Main Road address learned that a 14-year-old punched his father in the head during a heated argument, officers said. Both boys were taken to the Ashtabula County Youth Development Center, police said.

- A Conneaut-area woman told police her purse was stolen Monday night from a vehicle parked at Sal's Restaurant on Mill Street, police said. The purse was unattended for just a few minutes, the woman told officers. The theft was reported at 8:45 p.m.

ASHTABULA- Domestic violence was reported Monday in the 200 block of Burroughs Place.

- Prescription medication was stolen Monday from a house in the 1200 block of West Prospect Road.

- Copper was stolen Monday from a house in the 1000 block of West 50th Street.

- Two arrests were made Monday at the corner of Reed Avenue and Route 20.

- A caller said a man was punching a window of a vehicle, Monday, with a female inside the vehicle, while the vehicle was parked in the 500 block of West 36th Street.

- An assault was reported Monday in the 1000 block of West 39th Street.

- A woman attempted suicide twice Monday in the 4000 block of Cleveland Avenue. The woman went voluntarily to ACMC for treatment.
