A domestic dispute was reported in the 2700 block of Maple Avenue at 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 3

 

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation at 9:37 p.m. on Jan. 3. Officers discovered the driver of the vehicle was driving under suspension. Officers towed the vehicle and issued citation for the traffic violations. Upon a tow inventory drug paraphernalia was recovered from the vehicle. 

 

A disabled vehicle was reported at North Main Street and Lake Road at 8:21 p.m. on Jan. 4.

 

An abandoned vehicle was reported at Kingsboro Drive and Lake Road at 8:07 a.m. on Jan. 5.

SHERIFF

A man was arrested on warrants Jan. 6 at 9:33 a.m. at East Prospect Road and Court Street and he also faces drug trafficking charges after suspected narcotics were reportedly found during his arrest.

 

A man and woman were suspected of overdosing Jan. 6 at 4:23 p.m. in the Ashtabula Towne Square mall, Ashtabula Township, after they were seen passing out at a table in the food court. The couple admitted to using heroin when authorities arrived, but they were not found in possession of any drugs.

 

Theft of jewelry was reported Jan. 6 at 8:38 a.m. in the 3600 block of Fox Road, Kingsville Township.

 

A woman was found with suspected drugs Jan. 7 at 10:27 p.m. during a traffic stop at North Ridge Road East and Vineland Avenue, Ashtabula Township.

 

A man was arrested Jan. 7 at 11:30 p.m. at a home in the 4500 block of Middle Road, Monroe Township, after leading a deputy on a short vehicle chase. The man reportedly pulled into a driveway and claimed he didn’t initially stop because he had to urinate, but authorities found suspected drugs in his vehicle.

Vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 200 block of East 23rd Street at 7:14 a.m. Tuesday.

An assault was reported in the 900 block of East 26th Street at 12:03 a.m. Wednesday.

 

Police assisted the Lake County Sheriff’s Department in the arrest of a subject in the 1500 block of West Prospect Road at 2:39 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Disorderly conduct was reported in the 1200 block of West Prospect Road at 4:46 p.m. Wednesday.

 

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 4200 block of Main Avenue at 9:42 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Damage to a vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of West 19th Street at 9:51 p.m. Wednesday.
