CONNEAUT — A Conneaut woman died behind the wheel of her car on Tuesday, and authorities have released her name.
NaMarie Barnes, 53, of Conneaut, died of natural causes on Tuesday while driving. Her vehicle was moving at a slow speed, the Ashtabula county coroners office said. The vehicle slowed further after Barnes died and eventually struck an obstacle, the coroner's office said.
The Conneaut Fire Department received the call at 3:17 p.m. on Tuesday, Fire Chief Steve Lee said.
The accident happened at Creek and South Amboy roads, Lee said.
Barnes was driving a Jeep, which sustained minor damage in the crash, the coroner's office said.
