ASHTABULA — The Crime Enforcement Agency of Ashtabula County (CEAAC )Task Force, along with the Ashtabula Police Department, seized 47 guns, meth, heroin, prescription drugs and more than $3,000 in cash during recent raids at two city houses.
A warrant issued by Municipal Judge Laura DiGiacomo was first executed at 714 E. 17th St., according to a CEAAC press release.
The target of the investigation a 68-year-old Ashtabula resident, will be charged at a later date pending lab reports and further investigation.
CEAAC then searched 1506 W. 30th St., where 47 firearms were seized along with $3,000, according to the press release.
The CEAAC focuses on investigations into drug crimes, gangs, firearms, drug traffickers and homeland security issues.
