Beth Vanfossen and Noah Mechling were married in a double-ring ceremony June 2, 2012, at Dover First Christian Church. Minister Chris Mulpas officiated the 2:30 p.m. wedding. Sarah Fouts provided music and vocals.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Linda Vanfossen of Dennison. The groom is the son of Dr. Paul and Joanne Mechling of Pierpont.

For her wedding the bride chose a strapless gown in white featuring a fitted bodice accented with a crystal bow and beaded embroidery along the neckline. A pickup detail on the taffeta skirt was contrasted with a sheer organza peek-a-boo underlay and extended to a chapel-length train. Her fingertip-length tulle veil was embellished with a beaded edge and attached to a headband with clusters of rhinestones.

Bridesmaids were Julie Vanfossen, sister-in-law of the bride; Sarah Loveland, sister of the groom; Rachel Bear, Melinda Willard and Kadi Wilson. Peyton Vanfossen, niece of the bride, and Madison Loveland, niece of the groom, were flower girls.

Luke Loveland, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Groomsmen included Marc Loveland, brother-in-law of the groom; Joe Vanfossen Jr., brother of the bride; Brian Baird, Chad Melaragno and Justin Moseley.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents June 1 at Georgio’s Grille in Bolivar. The reception was held at Courtyard by Marriott in Canton.

The bride is a graduate of Claymont High School and Kent State University. She is employed as a speech-language pathologist for Tri-County Educational Service Center. The groom, a graduate of Edgewood Senior High School and Glennville State College, is a procurement forester for Yoder Lumber Co.

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and are residing in Millersburg.
