Senior Center Ashtabula Senior Center, 4632 Main Ave., is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Activities for Monday through Aug. 18: Monday: bingo 1-3:30 p.m., tole painting 9-11:30 a.m., quilt class 5-8 p.m. Wednesday: birthday party 1 p.m. Thursday: tole painting 9-11:30 a.m.; health screenings, cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose, weight management 9:30-11:30 a.m., senior issues chat 10 a.m.; golf tournament 8:30 a.m. at Harbor Golf Club Friday: Goodtime III & Lolly trip 7:30 a.m.; free computer class 11 a.m.; Upper Crust lunch group 11 a.m. at Kork N Kettle, reservations by Thursday Saturday: quilt class noon-4 p.m. Pavolino Cousins The Pavolino Cousins luncheon will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at The Crow's Nest, Ashtabula. Railroad Retirees Railroad retirees annual picnic will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 23 at Saybrook Township Park. Bring a covered dish or something to share. All current employees in all departments, railroads and docks; retirees and families are welcome. Rockwell Retirees Rockwell Retirees annual picnic will be noon Monday at Saybrook Township Park.
