ASHTABULA

Ashtabula County Employees Association for the Mentally Handi-capped/Ashtabula Professional Associ-ation of Community Service Coordinators will celebrate it's 30th anniversary with a dinner and program May 2 at Waters Catering. All members and former members are invited. Advance reservations are needed by Wednesday.

NAACP, the National Association for the Ad-vancement of Colored People, will meet 6 p.m. Thursday at Peoples Baptist Church, 3837 West Ave. The public is welcome. For more information, contact George Wilson, president.

Mahoning Valley Ohio Unit of the Internation-al Airstream RV Club will begin the season with a luncheon and welcome home for "snowbirds" Sunday at the home of Dick and Midge Anderson, Ashtabula. The club is open to anyone who owns an Airstream recreational vehicle. For more information contact Richard A. Anderson.

Friends of Geneva Library will meet 7 p.m. May 1 at the library. Prospective members are welcome.

KINGSVILLE

Sam Wharram Nature Club will host a hike, rain or shine, 2 p.m. Sunday at the club's reserve, two miles east of Kingsville Center on South Ridge Road. A naturalist from Cleveland Museum of Natural History will highlight endangered striped maple trees, vernal pools and a view of an eagle's nest. Learn about birds, wildflowers and more. JEFFERSON

Ashtabula County Humane Society will hold their annual election of officers meeting 7 p.m. today at Henderson Memorial Public Library.

Girl Scout Troop 848 of Jefferson is having a sub sandwich sale fund-raiser for it's New York City trip. Orders must be received and paid for by Sunday. Delivery will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 12. To place an order, call Debbie (Richard) Burlingame of Jefferson.
