• Police stopped a vehicle at 517 Joseph Ave. at 1:44 a.m. Friday. As a result, a man was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

• Petty theft was reported at 501 W. 57th St. at 12:43 p.m. Friday.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1115 W. Prospect Road at 1:29 p.m. Friday.

• Police assisted a member of the city’s housing department at 912 W. 41st St. at 2:39 p.m. Friday with an animal problem.

• Police were called to 401 Morton Drive at 5:59 p.m. because a subject was urinating in the parking lot.

• A juvenile assault was reported at 1625 W. 19th St. at 8:44 p.m. Friday.

• A caller reported a vehicle hit his residence at 5425 Nathan Ave. at 2:43 a.m. Saturday.

• An assault was reported at 2325 West Ave. at 6:32 a.m. Saturday.

• A burglary was reported at 416 E. 23rd St. at 9:21 a.m. Saturday.

• A caller reported items stolen from her Ogden Avenue home at 3:50 p.m. Saturday.

• Police received a complaint about neighbor dogs at 812 Thayer Ave. at 3:54 p.m. Saturday.

• A burglary was reported at 921 W. Prospect Road at 4:06 p.m. Saturday.

• A disturbance was reported at 830 W. 50th St. at 4:46 p.m. Saturday.

• An assault was reported at 211 W. 54th St. at 8:03 p.m. Saturday.

• A report of a juvenile threatening another juvenile at 856 W. 48th St. was received at 8:13 p.m. Saturday.

• A caller reported menacing at 5717 Woodman Ave. at 8:46 p.m. Saturday.

• Harassment was reported at 1217 W. Prospect Road at 1:33 a.m. Sunday.

• A fight was reported in the 3300 block of Station Avenue at 1:43 a.m. Sunday.

• A disturbance was reported at 1342 Thayer Ave. at 2:43 a.m. Sunday.

• A disturbance was reported at 228 W. 55th St. at 11:21 a.m. Sunday.

• A small child was reportedly running around the parking lot of the Circle K at 1910 W. Prospect Road at 1:55 p.m. Sunday.

• Criminal damage was reported at 3120 Glover Drive at 3:09 p.m. Sunday.

• Domestic violence was reported at 817 E. 12th St. at 3:33 p.m. Sunday.

• A disturbance was reported at 5929 West Ave. at 7:40 p.m. Sunday.

• A burglary was reported at 4724 Jefferson Ave. at 11:25 p.m. Sunday.



CONNEAUT

• A thief took a cellular telephone, e-reader, binoculars and clothing from a vehicle parked along Route 7 near South Ridge Road on Saturday, police said. Officers were contacted shortly after 5 p.m.

• Vandals spray-painted images on Station 3 fire station at East Main and Middle roads over the weekend, police said. The graffiti was reported around 11:50 a.m.

• Thieves apparently tried to break into a building on the Mobile Grove Trailer Park property over the past few days, police said.

• Two men were cited after a fight late Friday night that left one temporarily unconscious, police said.

The incident was reported around 10:37 p.m. at the Bottomline Bar in the Port of Conneaut district. One man claimed he was struck in the head with a pool cue and briefly knocked out. Officers took him to UH Conneaut Medical Center for treatment, according to reports.

The man kicked a door on a parked car and briefly tussled with police prior to his arrest, officers said.

• A small quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in a vehicle during a traffic stop on Gateway Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m. Friday. None of the occupants admitted ownership of the items.

• Police were contacted around 5:10 p.m. after a student reportedly made a threat while on a Conneaut school bus, officers said.

• Electronic gear was reported stolen from a Maple Avenue residence Thursday, police said.

• A Conneaut school bus driver was threatened by the parent of a student shortly before noon Thursday, officers said.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from a Cedar Avenue residence late Thursday morning, police said.
