LOCAL POLICE REPORTS

SHERIFF

• A theft was reported in the 2600 block of W. Prospect Road in Saybrook Township on Oct. 14.

• A theft was reported in the 3100 block of Ohio Ave. extension in Saybrook Township on Oct. 24.

• A four-wheeler was reported stolen in the 3900 block of Stanhope-Kelloggsville Road in Monroe Township on Oct. 15.

• A burglary was reported in the 3500 block of E. Union Road in Lenox Township on Oct. 21.

• A juvenile complaint was received in the 3600 block of Austin Road in Geneva Township on Oct. 21.

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 800 block of S. Spruce Street in Jefferson Township on Oct. 22.

• A burglary was reported in the 1700 block of Mini Ranch Trail in Harpersfield Township on Oct. 23.

• A male subject was issued a summons for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the area of W. Prospect Road and Lake Ave. in Ashtabula on Oct. 23.

• Threats were reported in the 3000 block of Stanhope-Kelloggsville Road in Monroe Township on Oct. 24.

• A juvenile was arrested for possession of drugs in the 1500 block of Garrett Road S. in Jefferson Township on Oct. 24.

• A burglary was reported in the 5100 block of Route 534 in Windsor Township on Oct. 24.

• Vandalism was reported in the 6000 block of South Ridge Road W. in Harpersfield Township on Oct. 25.

• A theft was reported in the 3300 block of North Ridge Road E. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 25.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 3900 block of Columbus Ave. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 25. One adult and one juvenile were arrested on drug charges.

• A disturbance was reported in the 2700 block of Route 307 in Austinburg Township on Oct. 26.

• A theft was reported in the 4800 block of North Ridge Road W. in Saybrook Township on Oct. 26.

• A theft was reported in the 1700 block of E. 28th St. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 26.

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 5900 block of Washington Blvd. in Saybrook Township on Oct. 26.

• A juvenile runaway was reported in the 4000 block of South Ridge Road E. in Kingsville Township on Oct. 26.

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 3100 block of Myers Road in Geneva Township on Oct. 26.

• An assault was reported in the 1600 block of Route 534 in Harpersfield Township on Oct. 26.

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 3900 block of North Ridge Road E. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 27.

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 5000 block of South Ridge Road E. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 27.

• A male subject was arrested for possession of meth during a traffic stop in the area of W. Prospect Road and Washington Blvd. in Saybrook Township on Oct. 28.

• A burglary was reported in the 6400 block of Mammond Corners Road in Monroe Township on Oct. 23.

• An unruly juvenile was reported in the 2800 block of C Court in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 24.

• A theft was reported in the 1900 block of E. 42nd St. in Ashtabula on Oct. 24. One adult was released on a summons.

• A theft was reported in the 5100 block of S. River Road E. in Harpersfield Township on Oct. 26.

• Two subjects were arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 500 block of Center St. in Ashtabula on Oct. 28.

• A male suspect was arrested for felony fleeing an eluding and failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer and resisting arrest after he led police on a vehicle pursuit and then fled on foot from the vehicle in the area of W. Prospect Road and Station Ave. on Oct. 28. The suspect was also cited for reckless operation and driving under suspension.

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 3300 block of Blair Ave. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 28.

• Vandalism was reported in the 3100 block of State Road in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 29.

• A burglary was reported in the 3500 block of Fox Road in Kingsville Township on Oct. 28.

• An unruly juvenile was reported in the 7600 block of Depot Road in Saybrook Township on Oct. 28.

• Vandalism was reported in the 3200 block of State Road in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 29.

• Identity fraud was reported in the 5000 block of Lenox-New Lyme Road in New Lyme Township on Oct. 21.

• An assault was reported in the 7700 block of Route 46 in Colebrook Township on Oct. 27.

• A theft was reported in the 3600 block of Austin Road in Geneva Township on Oct. 28.

• A theft was reported in the 1900 block of South Ridge Road E. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 29.

• A theft was reported in the 2000 block of Barnum Road in Harpersfield Township on Oct. 29.

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 6100 block of Route 322 in Williamsfield Township on Oct. 29.

• A burglary was reported in the 1800 block of South Ridge Road W. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 30.

• A theft was reported in the 3500 block of North Ridge Road E. in Ashtabula Township on Oct. 30.

• A suspicious person was reported in the area of Route 45 and Interstate 90 in Austinburg Township on Oct. 30. One female adult was arrested for aggravated disorderly conduct after becoming verbally abusive with a deputy and failing to provide identification.

• A burglary was reported in the 3300 block of Fink Road in Sheffield Township on Oct. 30.

• Telephone harassment was reported in the 2300 block of Plum Creek Drive in Roaming Shores on Oct. 31.

ASHTABULA

• Police checked a residence in the 1500 block of Columbus Avenue for drugs after a complaint at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.

• An injury to a child was reported at 820 W. 58th St. at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday.

• Threats were reported at 5505 Jefferson Ave. at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday.

• A shoplifter with scissors was reported at 318 W. Prospect Road at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday.

• A report of threats was made at 910 W. 51st St. at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday.

• An unruly juvenile was reported in the 600 block of West 57th Street at 10:04 p.m. Tuesday.

• A suspicious person was reported at 4534 Elm Ave. at 12:11 a.m. Wednesday.

• A disturbance was reported at 1211 Columbus Ave. at 1:21 a.m. Wednesday.

• Neighbor trouble was reported at  1212 W. 38th St. at 6:31 a.m. Wednesday.

• Menacing was reported at 2630 W. 13th St. at 7:08 a.m. Wednesday.

• A caller reported damage to her vehicle, and parts stolen, while parked in the 1600 block of Ohio Avenue at 8:07 a.m. Wednesday.

• A theft was reported at 5205 Main Ave. at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.

• Neighbor trouble was reported in the 5800 block of Adams Avenue at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday.

• A felonious assault was reported in the 5500 block of Washington Avenue at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday.

• The Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Department requested back up for an incident in progress at 1803 Route 84 at 4:27 p.m. Wednesday.

• A caller reported a theft at 1928 Lambros Lane at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday.

• A traffic stop at 1415 Lake Ave. resulted in the arrest of the driver for driving under suspension at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday.

• A subject arrested on an active warrant in the 4000 block of Park Avenue at 8:32 p.m. Wednesday was found to be in possession of drugs.

• A burglary was reported at 1211 Columbus Ave. at 10:02 p.m. Wednesday.

CONNEAUT

• A 20-year-old man was cited after he tussled with police after he was caught walking down the middle of West Main Road on Tuesday evening, officers said.

Police were dispatched to West Main near Gore Road around 11 p.m. The man repeatedly refused orders to move out of the westbound lane, then punched the side of a cruiser. After a brief struggle an officer was able to apply handcuffs to the man’s wrists and transported to jail.

• An attempted break-in was reported on Ernst Drive around 9:44 p.m. Tuesday, officers said.

• Mailboxes were damaged along on a stretch of Detroit Street earlier this week, police said. Officers were contacted shortly after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

• A Conneaut school bus driver reported harassment by a student early Monday afternoon, police said.

• Vandals damaged shrubs at a Pearl Street address earlier this week, officers said. Police were contacted Monday afternoon.

    • K-9 Officer Basco helped with a traffic stop at the corner of Center Street and Main Avenue at 12:11 a.m. Thursday. He alerted to a drug odor coming from the vehicle and discovered rolling papers. The passengers admitted to using marijuana before getting into the vehicle.
