ANADARKO, Okla — William W. “Bill” Phillips, age 68, was born May 14, 1944, at Ashtabula General Hospital. He passed away at his home in Anadarko, Okla., on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, of lung cancer.
A graduate of Kingsville High School, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in combat in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Phillips; parents, William and Margaret Phillips; and a sister, Peggy Hough.
He is survived by daughters, Susie Phillips of Ashtabula and Christine Heft of Copley, Ohio; two grandsons, Paul Mariotti Jr. and Michael Heft; brother, John D. Phillips of Toledo, Ohio; sisters, Betty Troillett of Carrollton, Ga., and Sandy Zajaczkowski of Farmington, Ohio; step-son, John Hopkins, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and step-daughters, Linda, Teresa and Donna, all from Oklahoma.
A Memorial Service will be held in Anadarko, Okla., at a later date.
