ASHTABULA — Annette “Nunny” Cevera, age 84, of Ashtabula, Ohio, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Ashtabula County Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born Feb. 13, 1929, in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of George and Olga (Sarell) Guerra. Nunny graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1947 and City Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland. On Dec. 2, 1950, she was married to William Cevera.
She worked at Ashtabula General Hospital for many years and also worked with her husband at his bar, Bill’s Tavern, in the Harbor.
Survivors include her husband, William Cevera; daughter, Sharon (David) Rich; sons, William (Lauren) Cevera, Timothy Cevera and Randy Cevera; and daughter, Roberta (Rick) Blakeslee; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janet Coxe.
At her request, there will be no calling hours. She will be remembered for her complete devotion and love for her family.
