ASHTABULA — John Henry Stiles, age 43, of West 42nd St., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
Born July 16, 1969, in Quantico, Va., at the Naval Hospital, he was the son of Jimmy and Clara (Howell) Stiles and had been an Ashtabula resident since he was 2 years old.
He attended Ashtabula High School and worked as a machine operator for Meese-Orbitron-Dunne Company for the past 10 years.
John enjoyed movies, TV, rock-n-roll, turkey shoots, and loved his cat, “Kayos”.
His survivors include his father and step-mother, Jimmy and Alice Stiles of Ashtabula; his grandfather, Eugene Knight; his brother, Jimmie L. Stiles of Ashtabula; a half-brother, Curtis Dale Stiles of Conneaut; a step-sister, Amy (Mark) Licate of Ashtabula; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his longtime girlfriend and fiancée, Lynnette Bowen of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his mother; grandmother, Wanda (Stiles) Knight; and grandparents, Stella and Earmon Howell.
A Celebration of Life Gathering of Friends will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9th, at the ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula.
