KINGSVILLE — Frank Thomas Randolph, age 85, of Kingsville, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Erie Veteran's Medical Center in Erie, Pa.
He was born July 8, 1927, in Ashtabula, the son of Paul F. and Marie (Stillwell) Randolph and had been a lifelong area resident. Frank attended Harbor High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force to be a belly gunner, and was honorably discharged after WWII. He married the love of his life, Naomi Ruth Babcock in Ashtabula on Jan. 31, 1946, and together they raised five children.
Frank retired in 1982 from True Temper in Saybrook as an electrician after 30 years of service. Over the years, he also worked with his son, Brad, at the ‘Big Worm”, Fish City and at the Bait and Tackle Shop at Lake Shore Park.
Mr. Randolph was a loyal member of the 1st Assembly of God in Conneaut where he served as a Deacon and on the church board. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing with his kids, gardening and spending time with his family.
Frank is survived by his wife of 66 years, Naomi; children, Thomas (Kathy) Randolph of Maple Glen, Pa., Brad (Diana) Randolph of Kingsville, Margaret (Steve) Andes of North Kingsville, Loretta Sue Andes of Conneaut and James David (Gail) Randolph of Kingsville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and nine siblings.
Per Frank’s wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Burial of his ashes will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the 1st Assembly of God Bereavement Fund.
