CONNEAUT — Jayden Raymond Steven Balliet, age 2, of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away at his home Monday morning, Oct. 28, 2013.
He was born Oct. 18, 2011, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Shauna D. Balliet and the late LeRoy Gilmore (Melik Mohammad).
Jayden loved his little recliner and would sit in it watching “Duck Dynasty”, “Big Bang Theory”, and “Nemo”. He enjoyed listening to music, playing with his stuffed animal friends, being taken for walks, riding with Papa on his motorcycle and mower before his accident, and being with family and friends. He was well-loved by many and was always having visitors.
Survivors include his mother of Conneaut; his sister, Madison Polly Jean Balliet at home; grandparents, Glen Balliet (Wendy Kanieski) of Conneaut, and Cindy Loomis of Conneaut; great-grandmother, Dorlene Loomis of Kingsville, Ohio; uncles, Harley Balliet and fiancée Sally Filipcic of Conneaut, and William Finegan of Conneaut; his godfather, Mark Hare of Conneaut; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and more distant relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father; and great-grandparents, LeRoy and Polly Balliet, and Alvin Loomis.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 31st, at MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Pastor Matt Sury, of Lighthouse Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
