GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE — Harvey Ray "Tootie" Pierce, age 63, of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio, died on Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at his home.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1949, in Versailles, Ky., to the late Harvey and Dorothy Pierce.
Tootie worked at Midwest Materials in Perry, Ohio, and was also a plumber.
He loved to laugh and joke, race drag strip cars, Harley motorcycles, and his animals.
Survivors include his children, Carrie Pierce of Perry, Ohio, and Craig Pierce of Geneva, Ohio; step-children, Jonathan and Joshua Brandt; grandchildren, Chasidy, Chad, Canaan, Cameron, Brandon, Payton, Logan and Taylor; great-granddaughter, Heidi; siblings, Martin Pierce, Charlotte Moore and Robert "Joe".
He was preceded by his parents and siblings, Stella Downs, Sherman, Ronnie and Tony Pierce.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 6th, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME 368 Mentor Ave. (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville, Ohio 44077.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7th, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be Versailles, Ky.
