She was born Jan. 12, 1953, in Burnet, Texas, the daughter of Lowell Curtis and Dortha (Dodds) Wyatt.

Marsha enjoyed life. She loved meeting new people and considered most everyone she met her new ‘sissy’ or ‘brother’. She was a member of the West Ave. Church of Christ in Ashtabula. She loved to read her Bible and pray. You could always find scripture verses written all over her home. At one time, she was a Sunday School teacher and loved teaching the children and giving them little gifts. She loved to sing spiritual hymns. She was active in the weekly Ladies Bible Study Group. She assisted with food preparations for funerals and such at the church.

She enjoyed making craft projects, and decoupage and would often give them away. She had a ministry of sending cards to encourage others and be a blessing. She was a gracious hostess always trying to give away a little trinket that she had to show her love. She always greeted you with a hug and said her good byes with a heartfelt ‘God Bless you and you have wonderful day’. Her sweet tea with creamer was her favorite beverage. Her pride and joy was her son and his children. She was very patriotic and made sure that others knew her son was serving in the United States Air Force. She dedicated a wall in her home as a patriotic tribute for her son- decorated with flags and red, white and blue her favorite color. She would walk many blocks to be able to pay respects to local fallen military heroes. She collected Angels and Dolphins.

She faithfully watched Days of our Lives, Walker Texas Ranger, Matlock, and Wheel of Fortune and actually wrote the TV authorities when the Touched by an Angel series was discontinued. She enjoyed fish. Not only did she enjoy raising her fish in the aquarium and her Beta, but she enjoyed going to the lake or creek to fish. She loved to wear hats of any kind and always had such a great sense of humor. She enjoyed talking on the telephone keeping up with her family and friends. She was also a member of the Eagles Club in Ashtabula where she enjoyed eating lunch and dancing.
