ORWELL — Julia M. Supinski, age 97, of Orwell, Ohio, died peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 24, 2013, at University Hospital Geauga Medical Center.
She was born on Feb. 26,1916, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Kovelkevich) Lucik. Mrs. Supinski was a member of St. Mary Church of Orwell. She was married to Michael Supinski on June 20, 1936.
Julia made many friends easily and was interested in the well-being of all the members of her family. She often expressed her affection for her neighbors who also expressed their affection for her. She enjoyed visits from friends and family, enjoyed reading, dancing and was a loyal Cleveland Indians fan.
Mrs. Supinski is survived by a cherished brother, Charles “Chuck” Lucik of Bristolville, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Supinski; brothers, Mike, Steve, Nick, Pete, John, Frank and Paul Lucik; and sisters, Mary Jennings, Kate Kozlevcar, Helen Burnat, Ann Jones and Christina Skidmore.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 30th, at St. Mary Church, 103 N. Maple St., Orwell, with the Rev. John Madden as celebrant. Burial will follow at the St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, at the PAINE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio 440876.
