Rose V. Treat, age 87, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Rae-Ann Geneva Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 29, 1925, in Gowanda, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Merle F. and Martha F. (Buhr) Miles. She was a resident of Geneva for the last seven years and formerly lived in Mentor and New York.
Rose worked as an Assembler at Magnif in Mentor. She liked gardening, walking, fishing and going to Casino's.
Survivors include her daughter, Gina Potpan of Geneva; her son, Joseph and Patricia Giglia of Mentor; five grandchildren, Gina Chester, Anthony Caranci, Deborah Potpan, Holly Holstein and Joseph Giglia Jr.; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; second husband, Basil; brothers, Darwin, Paul and Henry; and first husband, Joseph Giglia.
Inurnment of ashes will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery.
