ASHTABULA — Yolanda “Linda” E. Berrier-Rhoads, age 90, of Ashtabula, died Saturday morning, March 16, 2013, at Carington Park Nursing Home.
Born Jan. 28, 1923, in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Peter and Pasqualena (Sereno) Tulino.
Mrs. Rhoads was retired from Our Lady of Mount Carmel School (ACES) as the head cook in the cafeteria. Her love of children made the job easy. She enjoyed traveling, baby-siting, playing cards and family. Cooking for family and strong Catholic faith were her passions.
Survivors include her husband, Harry C.Rhoads of Ashtabula; daughter, Theresa (Marc) Pope of Ashtabula; sons, Dennis (Monica) Berrier of Westerville, Ohio, Lyle (Jacquie) Berrier of Conneaut and Chris (Debbie) Berrier of Ashtabula; step-children, Steve Rhoads, Sandy Rhoads and Marcella Rhoads, all of Florida; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Dezolt of Ashtabula; sisters-in-law, Millie Tulino of Ashtabula and Doris Tulino of Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ann Dramis, Rose Johnson and Betty Heasley; brothers, John, Carmen, Tony, Louis and Peter Tulino; and a step-son, Michael Rhoads.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Thursday, March 21st, in Our Lady of Peace Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with burial to follow in Saybrook Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula.
