ASHTABULA — Bryan E. Cooke, age 56, of Valley View Boulevard, Ashtabula, Ohio, died Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Carington Park Nursing Home in Ashtabula after a long illness.
Born May 22, 1958, in Mercer, Pa., he was the son of Gilbert E. and Linda (Wiand) Cooke.
He had worked as a Paramedic in Cleveland until his retirement from ill health.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR; collecting NASCAR items and watching old movies.
Surviving him is his daughter, Tarryn (Paul Guzik) Cooke of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Serenity and Faith; a brother, Mason (fiancée, Penny Lantz) Montgomery and a sister, Melynda G. Montgomery, both of Ashtabula; his aunt, Nancy McHale of Greenville, Pa.; a nephew, A. J. Weldy; and two nieces, Marlee and Rachel Cooke.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert E. Cooke; his mother and step-father, Linda and Ralph Montgomery; a brother, Dane Cooke; and a nephew, Cody Montgomery.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 19th, at the Friends in Christ Fellowship Church, 5807 Adams Ave., with Pastor Gifford Baker officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, Pa.
