CONNEAUT — Steven R. Kessler Sr., age 40, of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at UH-Conneaut Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 20, 1972, the son of the late Franklin and Zora “Kay” (Buckley) Kessler.
He was a cook at Just One More Bar & Grill in Conneaut. He was a past member of the Conneaut Eagles Lodge and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the outdoors and being with his family and friends.
Survivors include three sons, Steven R. Kessler Jr. of Conneaut, Corey Todd of Canton, Ohio and Denver Kessler of Conneaut; step-son, Patrick Reynolds of Conneaut; two step-daughters, Cheryl Hoplight and Pauline Seavey, both of Conneaut; a sister, Kimberly (James) White of Paden City, W.Va.; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Franklin “Bumper” Kessler Jr.; and a sister, Frankie L. Kessler.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29th, at Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio. Private burial will be held at a later date.
