Maxine E. Koski, age 95, of Ashtabula, died at the Ashtabula County Medical Center on Saturday, April 19, 2014.
She was born July 10, 1918, the daughter of George and Mary (Anderson) Smith. Maxine graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1936, and married Ray J. Koski in 1941.
She had a long career as a legal secretary, working for what would become Warren and Young law firm.
She was also very active at Bethany Lutheran Church. Maxine was probably most well known in recent years for her involvement with the church sale of Nisu, a cardamom flavored Finnish coffee bread. She was also involved with many other activities and committees in the church.
She enjoyed traveling, movies and music.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; brothers, Ralph and Dale; and sisters, Margaret and Beatrice.
She is survived by one son, David of Ashtabula.
