CHARDON — Raymond T. Dyling, age 54, of Windsor, Ohio, died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at UH-Geauga Medical Center in Claridon Township.
He was born on Dec. 2, 1959, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Raymond W. and Ann (Daley) Dyling. Raymond was a graduate of Southington High School in 1976.
He was a Product Engineer for 16 years at Jet Rubber Co. in Rootstown, Ohio, and married Paulette Patchin in 2001.
A lifelong resident of the area, he was a former cub scout and boy scout; loved all cars, especially the corvettes; and enjoyed going to Presque Isle. Raymond was a kind, considerate, loving person; always lending a hand and loved being with his family; especially his granddaughters.
He will be missed dearly by his friends and family; his wife, Paulette of 13 years; his son, Matthew of Warren; his stepson, Jeremy Hummel of Middlefield; two granddaughters, Aubrianna and Zoey; his parents, Raymond and Ann Dyling of Niles; and his brother and sister, Jarred A. Dyling and Patricia Ann Janovick, both of Warren.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 17th, at RUSSELL FUNERAL SERVICE, 15670 W. High St. (Rt. 87), in Middlefield, Ohio. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or to the Animal Protective League.
