MURRIETA, Calif. — Edna L. Kacso, age 90, formerly of Conneaut, Ohio, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at the home of her daughter in Murrieta, Calif.
Born July 30, 1922, in Conneaut, she was the daughter of May and George Jones and had lived in Conneaut all her life until Nov. 10, 2012, when she moved to be with her daughter.
Mrs. Kacso was a member of New Leaf United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and her beloved canine friends. Her proudest moments were her involvement with the American Legion, Teen Town and Sweet Adelines.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Rivera, and son, Richard Swanson, both living in California; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, all in California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Kacso, on the same day, June 10, in 1978; her parents; a brother, Merle Jones; and sisters, Emily Nickels and Dixie Wright.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 12th, at New Leaf United Methodist Church, 283 Buffalo St., Conneaut, with Pastor Jan Walsh officiating.
