NORTH KINGSVILLE — Margaret A. Stitt, age 66, of Glenwood Road, North Kingsville, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at her home.
She was born Nov. 5, 1946, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Lawrence and Victoria (Foster) Wight and had been a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of Edgewood High School.
She was a floral designer and had worked for Perky’s Florist, Kirtland’s Florist and Giant Eagle.
She loved to garden and loved being with her children, grandchildren and her dog “Molly”.
Surviving her is her son, Jeff (Christina Stalter) Stitt of North Kingsville; her daughter, Lisa (Greg) Anderson of Kingsville; six grandchildren, Chandler, Connor, Colby, Bailey, Ethan and Aliyah; a great-grandson, Michael; five brothers and sisters, Barbara (Joe) Melaragno of Las Vegas, Thom (Jody) Wight of Madison, Steve (Susan) Luce of Kingsville, Renee (Chuck) Unruh of Philadelphia and Vikki (Tim) Unruh of Philadelphia; and her former husband, Robert Stitt.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Wight; her mother, Victoria Luce; and her long time companion, Jack Piekarski.
A Memorial Service will be Tuesday held 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 18th, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS AND CREMATORY, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with Mark Unruh officiating.
Calling Hour will be from 5 p.m. until time of Service, Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
