IRVINE, Calif. — John Duran III, age 47, of Creek Road, Kingsville, Ohio, passed away from complications of a stroke early Saturday evening, April 13, 2013, surrounded by family in Irvine, Calif.
Born in Glendale, Calif., he was the son of the late John and Gladys Duran.
A resident of Kingsville the last 6 years, he was employed at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
John was a member of the “Backyard Boys” Horseshoe Team. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, loved to BBQ, relax with a beer and enjoyed life.
Survivors include his longtime fiancée, Pam Hinebaugh, and their daughter, Brittany; step-children, Nita Giffin and family of Madison and Donald Lowe and family of Mentor; brother, Richard Duran of Florida; sisters, Diane and Sandy and their families, both of California; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, all who were loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an older sister, Erma Haaker.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28th, at Edgewood Alliance Church, 3137 E. Center St. (Route 20), North Kingsville, Ohio, with a dinner following the service.
