GENEVA — Phyllis M. Pucci, age 90 of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at Geneva Shores.
Born Sept. 29, 1923, in Painesville, Ohio, to Marks F. and Martha E. (Wright) Hurtt.
Phyllis worked at Geneva Rubber Co. and the Kraft Cheese Co. in Chicago, Ill. She was a member of the United Church of Geneva and the Italian Sons & Daughters of Ashtabula.
She enjoyed her grandchildren. A great sports fan, she enjoyed traveling out west and even went over the Royal Gorge.
Survivors include a son, Dennis (Janet) Pucci of Indianapolis, Ind.; grandchildren, David, William, Robert, Clarissa, Alex, Victoria and Anthony; a great-granddaughter, Desiree; sisters, Mary Lou Widenhoefer of Chicago and Caroline Vassar of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Pucci, whom she married on Sept. 29, 1946 in Geneva; brothers, Andrew, William, Norman and Larry; and sisters, Katherine Jean, Martha English, Betty Maack and Dorothy Fullagar.
A Memorial Service will be held 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, with Matt Doerle, Chaplain of Crossroads Hospice, officiating.
Burial will be later at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.
