Mr. Williams was a 25 year employee of Reliance Electric, retiring in 1988. He gained the nickname “Sugardale” for his love of lunch meat. He attended the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene. He was gifted in a manner that he could repair or build anything from his own instinctive knowledge. He was proud that he built his own home in W.Va. and built his daughter’s home on Doyle Road. Family, work and church was his life.

Survivors include two children, Edward L. (Cathy) Williams and Shelia K. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Opal in 2004; and a sister, Ona Howard.

Travis Branstetter, of Logan Church of the Nazarene and grandson-in-law of Mr. Williams, officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Geneva VFW Post #6846 will provide full Military Honors.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Monday, prior to the Service, at the Funeral Home.
