EMMETSBURG, Iowa — Dennis A. Zilch, age 44, formerly of Bellevue and Conneaut, Ohio, more recently of Emmetsburg, Iowa, died unexpectedly of heart problems on Thursday, April 10, 2014.
Dennis was born Feb. 15, 1970, in Bellevue, to Dennis L. and Mary Lou (Sheets) Zilch and graduated from Conneaut High School in 1989.
He served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1989-1994. After earning a medal of commendation and his honorable discharge, he owned and operated ABLE welding in Florida. He loved being outside and spending time with his children, family and friends. His smile, laughter, singing and kindness will be terribly missed.
He is survived by his sons, Carter and Coby; his mother and step-father, Mary Lou (Walter) Limings of Bellevue; father and step-mother, Dennis L. (Sandy) Zilch of Kingsville, Ohio; step-children, Charlotte, Colton and Chace; his siblings, Tammy Stierhoff of Millbury, Cheryl (Greg) Gadberry of Bellevue and Shanon (Kim) Zilch of Bellevue.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 16th, at AUXTER FUNERAL HOME, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue.
His Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 17th, at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bruce Kent officiating.
The family request memorials be given to the family for the future care and education of Dennis’ sons.
