ASHTABULA — Nancy F. Proctor, age 80, of Ashtabula, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Thomas K. and Ethel M. (Francis) Proctor and had been a lifetime area resident.
She was a 1951 graduate of Ashtabula High School and had worked at Garfield’s Restaurant for 13 years and 6 years at Mike’s Farm Market.
She enjoyed her flower garden and reading.
Surviving her is her daughter, Tammy (Ronald L.) Kaydo of Jefferson; and three grandchildren, Heath A. (Megan Buccieri) Kaydo, Ronald A. Kaydo and Reese A. Kaydo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Marjie, Catherine Wilkinson and Auta Halman; and seven brothers, Byrd Metcalf, Cecil Metcalf, Wilber Proctor, Thomas Proctor, Larry Proctor, William Proctor and Norman Proctor who died fifteen minutes after her.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 22nd, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Long, of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 21st, at the Funeral Home.
