OCALA, Fla. — Dolores Christopher Henenfeld died on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, Fla., following a lengthy illness.
She was a 1944 graduate of Conneaut High School. Dolores lived in Ashtabula for several years, later relocated to New York City, and then retired in Florida. She often commented on what a great life she had enjoyed.
Dolores was born in Conneaut, Ohio on Oct. 15, 1926, the daughter of Mary (Ambrose) Christopher and Domenic (Tony) Christopher.
She is survived by her cherished niece and caretaker, Laurie (John) DiMaiuta; her brother, Francis (Roxana) Christopher of Conneaut; several other nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Marvin Henenfeld; her sister, Kathleen Durso; and her brothers, Joseph, Roland, Leonard and Marlowe Christopher.
Private committal will take place in Tampa at a later date.
