KINGSVILLE — Bertha M. (Yankie) Clingerman, age 83, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville, Ohio.
She was born Feb. 25, 1930, in Filbert, Pa. to Wanda (Huhn) and James V. Guy. She married Harold R. Clingerman in Madison, on Nov. 18, 1972.
Bertha was retired from Rockwell, RPO in Ashtabula. She was a member of Lantana Road Baptist Church, the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class and a member of the Saints Alive Ministry group.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Harry) Juncker of Linwood, N.C.; sons, Earl (Linette) Yankie of Conneaut, James (Kimberly) Yankie of Geneva, Daniel Yankie of Lakeland, Fla. and Jeff (Debbie) Yankie of Crossville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Garden, Elvira Contraski, Audrey Dunseath and Kathleen Matusky; and brother, Arthur Guy.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Yankie Sr.; second husband, Harold Clingerman; daughter, Sandra Sullivan; and her parents.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, August 27th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 26 River St., Madison, with a Funeral Service to follow at Noon. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
