KINGSVILLE — Pearl L. Mucci Hale, mother, grandmother, great-grandma and friend, passed away on Good Friday, March 29, 2013, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home with loved ones at her side.
Born May 7, 1947, in Conneaut, to Dominic (Joe) and Dorothy (Sackett) Mucci. Pearl had two brothers, Bob Sackett and Jim Mucci, both deceased; as well as a sister, Nancy Leehan, living in Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; and a baby daughter, Kendra Greer.
Pearl is survived by her children, Dawn, Shawna and Breck McKendrick; as well as Venetta Greer Hine, all of Conneaut. She has 10 grandchildren, one in particular was Katrina whom Pearl raised from a young age; and 9 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her boyfriend, James Irish of Conneaut; and a cousin, Shirley (Al) Sims.
Over the years, Pearl had been employed at several plants, including Rockwell Plastics, Molded Fiberglass and Andover Industries. She immensely enjoyed riding her motorcycle with her female sidekicks, Rose Noce and Kathe Bailey and of course Prudence, her dog, that loved to ride on the gas tank of her motorcycle. She loved westerns, reading and was an awesome baker. She was a good woman and a good friend.
A Celebration of Life for Pearl will be announced at a later date. After cremation she will be entombed with her baby daughter in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.
Donations to defray funeral costs can be made directly to the RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, where arrangements are being handled.
