CINCINNATI — Charles N. “Chuck” Kennedy, age 73, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013.
He was born Oct. 5, 1939, in Meadeville, Pa., to the late Donald and Cora Kennedy. He was a long time resident of Evendale.
Chuck grew up in northeast Ohio and retired from P&G in 1995.
Survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice (née: Treen); son, Steven; daughters, Cynthia Dovenbarger and Christine Smith; grandsons, Alan, Ryan, Donald and Tyler; and great-granddaughter, Alayna.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Roy, and is survived by his brother, Tom Kennedy of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Chuck was Past Master of Sharonville-Calvary Masonic Lodge 204; member of Scottish Rite, Cincinnati Syrian Shrine Temple Desert Riders and Director’s Club; and was recognized as an Honorary Kentucky Colonel. He was a past volunteer member of Blue Ash-Montgomery Life Squad.
He enjoyed classic cars, golf, family time, listening to Reds and Bengals games, and remodeling projects at home.
Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 3rd, at Fleming Road United Church of Christ, 691 Fleming Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cincinnati Shriners Burns Institute or Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash.
