CLEVELAND — Clifford J. Hamrick, age 60, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at University Hospital of Cleveland, Cleveland, Ohio.
Born Nov. 19, 1952, in Fairmont, W.Va., he was a son of the late Lacy F. and Zomie G. (Smith) Hamrick. On August 20, 1977, he married Ruth M. Riddell in Geneva.
Clifford was a Truck Driver for Frank's Transportation out of Independence, Ohio.
He loved his grandchildren and being on the computer.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; children, Jamie of Leroy, Robert of Painesville, Michael of Ashtabula and Joseph of Unknown; 10 grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Ashley, Ryan, Troy, Big Austin, Ayden, Little Austin, Cayden and Abigail; brothers, Franklin (Veda) Hamrick, Tommy (Virginia) Hamrick and Roy Hamrick, all of West Virginia, and George (Cheryl) Hamrick of Geneva; sisters, Lorene Garvin of West Virginia, Aderine Atkinson of Alabama, and Madeline Dodge of Ashtabula; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Willie, John and Raymond; and sisters, Corene Garven, Katherine Wilcox and Irene Stewart.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18th, at the WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, with the Rev Brian Wright, of Faith Community Church Assembly of God, and the Rev. Bruce Hitchcock, of First United Methodist Church of Geneva, officiating. Internment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., TODAY, Tuesday, Sept. 17th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME.
