MADISON — Ray D. Lawver, age 60, a resident of Madison, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. He was born July 3, 1952.
He retired after 30 years from the former King Musical Instruments, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was a member of the VFW post #6846 in Geneva.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher and Kyle Lawver; father, Ray M. Lawver of Madison; brothers, Terrance (Sandy) of Saybrook, Darrell (Valerie) of Mentor and Victor (Wanna) of Painesville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Lawver.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio, where Military Rites will be performed at 5 p.m. by Geneva VFW Post #6846.
