WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Earnest Christopher Robinson, age 90, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012.
Born July 3, 1922, in Conneaut, Ohio, he was the son of the late Earnest C. and Frances Walla Robinson. A Veteran, he served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II.
Mr. Robinson retired from Detrex Chemical Co., Ashtabula, Ohio.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist, Albuquerque, N.M.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi Robinson of Winter Haven, Fla.; daughters, Sandra Dowler of Pfafftown, N.C., Penny Rantanen and Joann Simon, both of Ashtabula; stepdaughters, Susan Fraley of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jean E. Curtiss of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; step-sons, Ralph Curtiss of Polk City, Fla., and William B. Curtiss of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Erick Peck of Melbourne, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Siina Mackey Robinson, and his son, Christopher J. Robinson.
A Service was held at CRISP-COON FUNERAL HOME, Winter Haven, Fla. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held in Ashtabula, Ohio, at a later date.
