ORWELL — Rose Ann Krivejko, age 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, surrounded by her family.
She was born May 24, 1925, in Gustavus, Ohio, the daughter of Louis F. and Elizabeth Marie Somogyvari. Rose graduated from Gustavus High School and married Edward Krivejko on Aug. 27, 1945, they raised a family of four children in Orwell.
She was a founding member of the Daughters of Mary at St. Mary's Church and retired from Johnson Rubber after 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother of four, grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 20.
She is survived by a son, Ron (Madeline Hall) Krivejko of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters, Janice (Mark) Pfrenger of Miami, Fla. and Carol Vandervort of Orwell; brother, George Somgnary of Cortland; and sisters, Margaret Rosenburger of Johnston and Helen Zadunajsky of Orwell.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; son, Gary; sisters, Bertha, Irma, Julia and Mary; and a brother, Paul.
The family will hold Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12th, at PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 E. Main St., Orwell.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 13th, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 103 N. Maple St., Orwell, with the Rev. G. David Weikart officiating. Burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
