CONNEAUT — Greg A. Fisher Sr., age 58, of Conneaut, Ohio, died Monday morning, June 24, 2013, at the home of his sister in East Springfield, Pa.
He was born Jan. 15, 1955, in Wellsville, N.Y., the son of Raymond C. and Juanita D. (Coleman) Fisher.
An area resident most of his life, Greg was employed as a customer service representative at Horton Pre-Cast Concrete in Girard, Pa. He was a long time member of the Conneaut Eagles Club and American Legion Cowle Post #151. He enjoyed motorcycling on his Harley, spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, horses, playing guitar with friends and family, and playing lottery pull tickets.
Survivors include his son, Greg A. (Brenda) Fisher of Pierpont, Ohio; his granddaughter, Chelsey Fisher of Pierpont, Ohio; five sisters, Debbie (Ed) Hamman of Sanford, Fla., Marilyn (Jim) Wright of Kingsville, Ohio, Sandra (Russell) Bowers of Conneaut, Ohio, Candy (Dale) Knox of East Springfield, Pa. and Jackie (Dave) Dello of Conneaut, Ohio; three brothers, Terry (Darla) Weske of Conneaut, Ohio, Dale (Kim) Fisher of East Springfield, Pa. and Edward Fisher of Conneaut; as well as nieces, nephews and more distant relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., TODAY, June 27th, at MARCY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio, with the Rev. Shane Thompson, Spiritual Care Coordinator for AseraCare Hospice of Erie, officiating. Greg will be buried, along with his companion dog, “Dixie” in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio.
Calling Hours will be at the Funeral Home TODAY from 10 a.m. until time of Service at 11 a.m. Calling Hours were held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
