AUSTINBURG — Theresa Condron, age 95, of Ashtabula, Ohio, died on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at the Austinburg Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 13, 1918, she was the daughter of Anthony and Marie (Renda) Berinato. Theresa graduated from Ashtabula High School and on Oct. 26, 1940, she married Guilford Condron in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ashtabula.
Mrs. Condron was retired as a seamstress from Empire Gold Bridal Salon.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and Sons of Italy of America Anita Garibaldi Lodge. She enjoyed playing bocce and golf, cooking, and traveling.
Survivors include her son, Brian Condron of Ashtabula; sisters, Jennie Rose and Antoinette Singleton; brother, Anthony Berinato; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Guilford “Gib” Condron; two infant children; brother, Frank Berinato; and sisters, Delores Carano, Jean Soltis and Josephine Mahaffy.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7th, at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with Father Ernesto Rodriguez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula.
