AUSTINBURG — Keith A. Britton, age 47, of Forman Road, Austinburg, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at University Hospitals of Geneva.
He was born March 3, 1966, in Ashtabula, the son of Arlie Norman and Pearl (Moore) Britton and had been an area resident his whole life. He was a 1986 graduate of Geneva High School and married Sherri Wittenmyer on Sept. 30, 1989.
He was an independent contractor and was the family project consultant who loved fixing things and helping his neighbors. He enjoyed building Legos with his son and granddaughters. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, four wheelers and snow mobiles and going on weekend road trips. Most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughters.
Surviving him are his mother, Pearl Britton of Ashtabula; his wife, Sherri Britton of Austinburg; his son, Keith A. (Kaeli) Britton Jr. of Austinburg; two granddaughters, Keirnan and Kenna; a brother, David Britton of Saybrook; and a sister, Norma (Ricky) Parsons of Charleston, W.Va. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Darrel Britton in infancy.
Calling Hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 29th, at the Jefferson Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 49 W. Jefferson, Jefferson, Ohio.
Private graveside services will be Thursday at Austinburg Center Cemetery.
