JEFFERSON — Betty Lee Tucker, 83, formerly of Ketcham Avenue, Ashtabula passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Jefferson Healthcare.
She was born December 15, 1928 in Flat Woods, WV, the daughter of George Bailey and Opal (Miner) Rexroad and had been an area resident for many years.
A homemaker most of her life, she had also worked waitress over the years.
She had been active at the Ashtabula Senior Center and thoroughly enjoyed her time there, often volunteering at the snack bar.
Betty was also known for her neat and tidy nature.
Her survivors include three children, Betty Sue Avery of Ashtabula, Rebecca Jean Tucker of Youngstown, and Charles Lee (Evy) Stevenson of Ashtabula; and ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Charlotte Dibell and Mary Nell Cougar; three brothers, James, Homer, and George Rexroad; and her parents.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 10 to 11 AM with a service to follow at 11AM at the DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.
