ASHTABULA — Marco Aurelio Cinciarelli, age 88, of Wilson Ave., passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at Silver Sands Shared Residency with his loving family by his side.
He was born March 21, 1926, in Ashtabula, the son of Aurelio “Rolli” and Elizabeth (Mizsik) Cinciarelli and had been a lifelong area resident. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he proudly served his country during World War II. On Sept. 5, 1946, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth J. Briggs, and they began a beautiful journey together.
Prior to his retirement, he worked over 30 years for True Temper in Saybrook and later as custodian for First Baptist Church.
A member of the First Baptist Church, he served as both a Deacon and an usher. He was a dedicated participant in the American Red Cross blood donor program and had given many gallons of blood during his lifetime.
He enjoyed golfing, but loved the Lord and his family above all things.
His survivors include his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth; four children, Cathy (Allan) Wilenius and Tom (Lynda) Cinciarelli, both of Ashtabula, Mike (Kadee) Cinciarelli of Las Vegas, Nev. and Jeff (Elizabeth) Cinciarelli of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; 13 grandchildren, Wendy (Tony) Moore, Sherry Wilenius, Amy (Mike) Susevich, Allison (Eladio) Lagoa, Shannon (Chuck) Riley, Shawn (Michelle) Cinciarelli, and Michael II, Mark, Andy, and Emily Cinciarelli, Abigail Valdez, Leonardo Romero, and Olivia Paiz; 17 great-grandchildren, Tori, Eric, Megan, Dylan, Jayden, Michael II, Matthew, Jacob, Lorenzo, Nadia, Ava, Claire, Madison, Preston, Sophia, Lily Belle and Eli; great-great-granddaughter, Candlelyn; two sisters, Emma (Joe) Wright of Michigan and Dorothy Sparks (Cliff) Corey of Ashtabula; one brother, Rollie “Curnie” Cinciarelli of Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Yarbough; one brother, Robert Cinciarelli; and his parents.
Calling Hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 7th, at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula and on Tuesday, July 8th, from 10 to 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church, 4353 Park Ave., Ashtabula.
A Service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 8th, at First Baptist Church, 4353 Park Ave., Ashtabula. The Rev. Doug Wright, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery with Full Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post #103 and VFW Post #943.
