WILLIAMSFIELD — Reta Ann McNeilly, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.
Reta was born July 9, 1935 in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of Luva Emma (White) and Harlan Jay "Shorty" McNeilly Sr. A life long area resident, she was a 1953 graduate of Williamsfield High School.
She worked as a waitress for the former Waynewood Restruaunt; a press operator for Target in Wayne, Ohio; a vending machine attendant for AVI of Warren, Ohio and a store clerk for Goodwill of Andover, Ohio.
Reta attended school to be an Evangelical Church of God Pastor and she was a missionary on an Indian reservation in Wambli, S.D. She enjoyed doing the family genealogy, making ceramics, doing flower gardening and spending time with her cats.
Reta was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, David P. McNeilly.
Survivors include two brothers, Harlan "Jay" (Barbara) McNeilly Jr., of Newcomerstown, Ohio and Mark I. (Barbara) McNeilly of Wayne, Ohio; 12 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 5th, at BAUMGARDNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 134 Prospect St., Andover, with Calling Hours from 10 a.m. until the time of Services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Parkinson Fund.
