GENEVA — Elizabeth K. Engelmann, age 95, of Geneva, Ohio, passed Friday, June 27, 2014, the 26th year anniversary of the passing of her beloved husband, Martin, whom she married June 3, 1939. She had been a resident of Rae-Ann Geneva Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 7, 1919, in Akron, Ohio, to Peter and Catherine (Koehler) Molnar.
Elizabeth enjoyed gardening, crocheting and traveling.
Survivors include her children, Martin J., Dennis G. (Elaine) and James F. Engelmann, Kathy (David) Olszeski, Judith (Gary) Cowper, Susan (John) Sherwood, Teresa (Keith) Egner and Mary Jane (Louis) Malensek; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Jane (Jerry) Bruening; brothers, Peter (Hilda) Molnar and John (Sassy) Molnar; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin in 1988; her parents; grandson, Richard; sister, Clara Dalton; two daughters-in-law, Joan and Victoria Engelmann.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 1st, at Assumption Church, 594 W. Main St., Geneva, with Fr. Melvin Rusnak presiding. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 30th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.
